One monolith.
Everything moved together.

Modernisation was about creating architectural freedom — not simply moving old software to Azure.

ResultA tightly coupled monolith transformed into independently deployable services on Azure.

01THE CHALLENGE

The complexity was never in one system.

A large monolithic application and on-premises Microsoft infrastructure constrained how releases and changes could be made. The transformation gradually decomposed the platform while moving it to Azure.

The target became three independently deployable backend services with a separate frontend. Azure DevOps, YAML pipelines, IaC, security scanning, secrets management and monitoring formed the DevSecOps foundation.

REMVOO worked through architecture and implementation, including backend, frontend, Azure and the delivery model needed to make the new architecture usable.

02THE REALITY
“Modernisation is not moving old software to the cloud. It's changing how technology can evolve.”
03THE TRANSFORMATION

The goal was not cloud migration. The goal was architectural freedom.
